Ohio state senator Capri Cafaro gave a legislative update here in Mansfield. Senator Cafaro wanted to "talk about the political landscape" as it relates to Columbus, touching on such topics as health care, education, and human trafficking. She also compared these issues being similar to the ones being faced in northeast Ohio as well.

Senator Cafaro is a longstanding advocate of improved health care for Ohio families and seniors. Her hard work and dedication in many fields has garnered recognition not only from her peers but as diverse as Ohio Advanced Practice Nurses, Ohio Farmer's Union and the Fraternal Order of Police among others.

A delicious dessert auction was held after the update. All desserts were donated by elected officials, candidates, community leaders and RCDWC members.
