Encouraging Literacy For The Little Ones

Mansfield City Schools sponsored "Summertime is a Great Time to Read-Achieve- Succeed" at the carrousel and Little Buckeye Children's Museum.

The event's primary goal was to encourage summer reading.
Mansfield City Schools recieved an Early Literacy grant last year which went towards funding the event.

Literacy stations were set up for children in  kindergarten through 3rd grade.
The event also offered free admission to the museum and free carrousel rides.
