Fatherhood Fun Day at the YMCA

The Mansfield YMCA hosted a Fatherhood Fun Day to celebrate the Fathers Day weekend on Friday evening.

The Ohio Commission of Fathers funded the event with a grant, which included free food and fun for kids and their families, while also providing a renewal of family values into the area.

Buddy Workman, co-coordinator for the event, says that family values are lacking in the area and the free fun day is just one of many ways they are promoting fatherhood in the area.

A number of public officials spoke at the event, while area agencies also handed out information.
