If a tornado, flood or other natural disaster occurred, would you know the steps to take to keep you and your neighbors safe?

What should be the role of the government in a disaster?

Ashland citizens had the opportunity to discuss these topics during a community conversation Monday night at Ashland University.

The purpose of the meeting? to educate citizens and update the city of Ashland's Disaster Plan. Those who attended the meeting had the chance to suggest what they thought the role citizens, government and non-government agencies should be in the event of a natural disaster.
