The latest numbers indicate more Ohioans are finding work.

The state's unemployment rate was 5.5% in May, down from 5.7% in April. The number of unemployed Ohioans dropped 11,000 during that time. And unemployment in the state has dropped by 108,000 in the past year.

Ohio fares better than the country as a whole. The U.S. unemployment rate was 6.3% last month, unchanged from April.
