Kingwood Center held its annual Flower Show, now in its 28th year. The show featured many different breeds and kinds of flowers, which were subjected to judging in competition.

"Some of these displays are so creative and beautiful," said Marcia Rice, a Kingwood Center volunteer. "And the people that have done this have put so much time into it. You can just see their love of flowers."

After the judging, ribbons for first, second, and third place "sprouted up" throughout the displays. For more Kingwood Center events, visit kingwoodcenter.org.
