The Happy Grape wine bar in Lexington held its 3rd Annual Indie Art Fest. Artists were invited to come and paint the patio mural in the back of the Happy Grape, using whatever designs or features they wished.

"We just hang out all weekend and paint," said Jennifer Blue, Happy Grape's operations manager. "We have vendors coming in to sell art, and local musicians performing original music."

Some artists knew what they wanted to paint ahead of time, but many artists just painted what came to mind as they worked on the wall, making every year's mural completely unique and original.
