Summer's here, and it's time to spruce up your home or business, especially if you live in Ontario. The city is having its first annual beautification project, to encourage property owners to make use of their green thumbs. Mayor Randy Hutchinson says you can improve your landscaping, or plant flowers or trees, or put in mulch. To enter the contest, e-mail your name, address, and phone number to [email protected] by Monday July 14th at eight am. A panel of judges will visit the entered properties later that day and vote on the winners. Top three places in the residential and business categories will receive a certificate, with each winner getting an Outback Steakhouse gift card.
