The bump you feel when you drive eastbound through the railroad underpass on Park Avenue West in Ontario will soon be smoothed over. Mayor Randy Hutchinson and the city engineer are developing plans to repave under both lanes of the bridge. The westbound lane of the underpass has a much less noticeable bump, but the mayor says it needs attention too. In the meantime, the city has installed signs warning motorists of the bump, and to slow down to 35-miles-an-hour when driving beneath the bridge.
