After one season as head coach of the Mansfield Christian boys soccer team, Jesse Rider has decided to step down from his position stating he was no longer able to commit the time needed to continue the program's success.

In his only season, he led the Flames to the Division III state final finishing as runner-up to Cincinnati Summit Country Day by a final of 2-1, as the Flames finished with a mark of 23-2. Junior varsity coach Steve Armstrong, who has been with the program for three years, will take over as the new head coach.
