At the Board of Trustees meeting Wednesday night, members reviewed agenda items and discussed great news for students and faculty. The college and faculty have reached a tentative agreement regarding teacher contracts.

Faculty argued they haven't received an actual raise in years. The one-percent raise received last year was needed to cover their insurance and retirement costs.

Fall 2014 brings good news for students, with renovation contracts in the works for The Health Sciences Classrooms and Labs as well as a scholarship program aimed at helping NCSC  students transfer credits to OSU-Mansfield with no change in tuition.

Another great development from campus, "Welcome Johnny and Jane Home" a Veteran outreach program introduced by board members. This program aims to help Veterans by having volunteers listen to them, helping them heal as well as creating a safe and supportive campus/community for them.
