The courtyard at Mansfield's Kingwood Center was jam-packed Thursday evening for the annual summer concert kickoff.

Dozens turned out to enjoy a free night of music, courtesy of musical group "Stardust", in a picturesque setting.

Bill Collins, head gardener at Kingwood Center, says the courtyard is "a wonderful area to have [the concerts] in."

Collins says people are able to take in the music in a variety of manners at its location; from bringing a lawn chair to walking through the gardens.

The free concerts will run through early August, with a complete list of performers available at kingwoodcenter.org
