President Barack Obama will nominate Bob McDonald to head the Department of Veterans Affairs, according to the White House. McDonalds is a West Point graduate and the former CEO of Proctor and Gamble. The Veterans Affairs health cares system needs to be overhauled, according to a report delivered Friday to President Obama. It blamed unresponsive leadership and a "corrosive culture" for the problems. The VA in Phoenix is accused of using a secret list to cover up excessive waiting times for veterans to see a doctor. Some of the vets died in the process.
