The fifth annual Airport Day festival happens Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Mansfield Lahm Airport.

The event begins with a pancake breakfast, and includes plenty of planes, a car show, historical lectures, a Med-Flight helicopter visit, the Mansfield Police SWAT Team, Young Eagles flights, and a kids' area.

This year's Airport Day features the dedication of a 179th Airlift Wing C-130, as the "Spirit of Mansfield", at nine o'clock. You'll also see a piece of aviation history that never got off the ground. Mansfield inventor Daniel McFarland Cook's flying machine, built in 1858 and found in a Lucas area farm field a few years ago is on display.
