Shelby Celebrates the 4th With Free Ice Cream

The City of Shelby held an ice cream social at Veteran's Park this afternoon in celebration of Independence Day. The third annual event is a way for residents to get together and celebrate the 4th of July, since Shelby's fireworks display falls on the weekend after the 4th. Ice cream was provided by Paul's Drive in, a Shelby favorite.
