Cars, Planes and More at Mansfield Lahm Airport Day

Sunny skies and clear weather were perfect for Mansfield Lahm Airport's "Airport Day", which featured planes used in the air port and a car show on the nearby tarmac.

Airport officials showed off different models of airplanes and gliders as people toured the area, asking questions about the aircraft and talking with employees. Due to budget cuts, some of the military aircraft featured in years prior are missing, but the inclusion of many private planes made up for it.

Meanwhile, cars steadily cruised into the adjacent lot, where the car show was to be held.

"As far as the car show goes, we try to improve it every year," said Ron Odson, the car show's chairman. 

Proceeds from the day's event will go towards Richland County United Way.
