Pleasant Hill Lake Park is preparing for its upcoming summer and fall events. One such event, Christmas in July, provides fun entertainment such as fireworks, hay rides, games, and more.

"We want to make sure that everybody realizes this is the best-kept secret in this area," said Cynthia Ridenour, activities director for the park. "They need to come out and enjoy it. The scenery is beautiful, and there's lots of things to do."

Visitors only need to pay the park's entrance fee to access the park's wealth of activities. Various events during the park's summer and fall seasons can be found at the park's welcome center, or on the park's website or Facebook page.
