About a month ago WMFD reported on the progress of Startek Stadium at Ram Field. Now, except for the all weather track and the installation of goal post the project is nearly finished and appears to be more than ready for the team's home opener on Friday, September 5th, against the Galion Tigers.

According to Jayson Stone of the Stadium Improvements Committee, work is underway for opening ceremonies come game night with the return of former players and coaches with the event open to the public. Stone also adds that special recognition will be given to the donors who made the project possible. For Galion it will be the second time in the last three years they helped to open a renovated field with turf. The first time was back in 2011, week one when they traveled to Arlin Field to play the Mansfield Tygers.
