The Indian Motorcycle Company that was in business from 1901-1953, showed off their wares at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course during Vintage Motorcycle Days this weekend.

The company itself is making a comeback. In April of 2011, Polaris Industries bought the rights to the Indian Motorcycle brand and has proceeded to put out a new model which according to Gary Grey, Product Director of Indian Motorcycle based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, still maintains many of the old traditions of Indian bikes of the past. Such as the full-head dress Indian on the front, the classic valence fenders with the war bonnet up front and script "Indian" on the fuel tank. The new bike also features ABS brakes, tire pressure monitor and blue tooth. A new Indian retails between $18,999 to $22,999.
