The Mansfield Tygers played host to several teams Tuesday at Arlin Field for seven-on- seven drills. Of the teams that were their four advanced to the post season a year in Massillon (9-3) regional semifinalist D-2, Trotwood Madison (11-3) state runner-up D-3, Cleveland Glenville (13-2) state runner-up D-2 and the Tygers who finished as regional semifinalst in D-2 at 11-1 in 2013.

While most of the head coaches there like the scrimmages saying it helps to time up your passing game and gives the secondary a chance to defend against it, they all agree you won't know what you have until August when the pads come out and you begin putting everything together offense, defense, kicking game. Officially, practice begins on August 1st, with week one August 29th.
