Nearly two dozen wildfires have destroyed homes and burned nearly a million acres across the Pacific Northwest. This video from a remote-controlled aerial vehicle shows the damage left by the flames. Virtually nothing is left untouched around Pateros, Washington, about 200 miles east of Seattle. You can see homes completely destroyed, and a landscape with nothing but the charred remains of trees and shrubs. More than 150 structures have been lost to fires in Washington state and Oregon over the past week.
