Hayes, Beaubier Split AMA Weekend at Mid-Ohio

  Original Published: 7/21/2014After getting rained out on Saturday, the AMA Superbike weekend at Mid-Ohio went off with two races on Sunday, both shortened from 21 laps down to 16. One that ran in the morning at 11am, won by Cameron Beaubier with teammate Josh Hayes coming in second. Both were riding the Yamaha R1. In the second race the tables were turned, but just barely, as Hayes edged Beaubier by just one 1000th of a second to win the second race. Roger Hayden riding the Suzuki GSX-R1000 was third in both races.
