Some scary moments in the sky over Columbus for passengers aboard a Southwest Airlines jet. That plane made an emergency landing at Port Columbus International Airport late Tuesday night. A Southwest spokesperson says the flight, from Baltimore to Chicago, diverted to Columbus after the pilots got a warning of smoke in the forward cargo hold. The captain declared an emergency and the plane landed safely. Passengers and crew escaped using evacuation slides. No one was hurt. Emergency responders found no signs of smoke or fire. Southwest says the plane is out of service for further inspections.
