The 48th Annual Fireman's Ox Roast is underway in Shiloh and runs through this weekend. 8,200 pounds of beef will be cooked and served up alongside baked beans, potato salad, homemade pies and more. Proceeds from the event go directly towards purchasing fire, EMS equipment and supplies. The fire department plans to purchase a new ambulance this year, thanks to Ox Roast funds from years past. The fun continues through Saturday in downtown Shiloh. For more information, visit shilohfire.net
