Law enforcement officers and safe communities group members gathered Friday at the Kehoe Center in Shelby for a media panel discussion. WMFD's Greg Heindel was among several reporters discussing how the media and law enforcement can better work together, for the public's benefit. The media panel was organized by Lt. Chad Enderby, commander of the Mansfield post of the State Highway Patrol. This was also a quarterly meeting of Highway Patrol, Sheriff's, and police officials from ten counties to plan for up-coming "Click It or Ticket" and "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" enforcement efforts. The next special drunk driving enforcement campaign runs from August fifteenth through September first.
