OSR Hosts Treasures of Mid-Ohio

The Visiting Nurses Association of Ohio held their first "Treasures of Mid-Ohio" fundraiser Tuesday night at one of Mansfield's local gems.

The Guard's Room at the Ohio State Reformatory set the stage for more than two- hundred people to enjoy hors d'oeuvre's, drinks and a silent auction for a great cause.

The VNA is a non-profit organization, so all proceeds from the event go directly to patient care. Their territory covers 30 counties, spreading all the way to Columbus and helps more than 1,100 patients. They hope to raise 10 thousand dollars from this event.

C.O.O Dana Traxler adds that the event will be a yearly "traveling" event, which will celebrate our local treasures right here in Mid-Ohio, while raising desperately needed funds for those in the VNA's care.
