The Ontario Chapter of the Lion's Club hosted a tenth anniversary celebration for a local organization.. The Mansfield area's Loss of Vision Support Group celebrated their anniversary with a picnic, awards and acknowledgements.

The group welcomes those who are blind or partially sighted, their friends, family or others who are concerned about issues related to vision loss. Their meetings include speakers and presentations that provide valuable information for visually impaired people.

Founder Jim Bemiller said he felt a need for this group in the community, so he decided to do something about it. The Loss of Vision Support Group is a chapter of the American Council of the Blind. Their monthly meetings are held at the Waterford in Mansfield. For more information, contact Linda Bennett at 419-529-5792
