The Oasis of Love Church hosted their annual Community Kindness Day Friday afternoon. A hearty picnic lunch, haircuts for boys and girls, face painting, games and more were provided at no charge to the public.

The event ran from 11am to 2pm at Oasis Park, located on the corner of Bowman and Harker Streets. By 1pm, they gave away more than 600 backpacks filled with school supplies. For more information, call Oasis of Love Church at 419- 524-0344
