A two-vehicle accident just north of Shelby had a fatal ending Monday afternoon.

The accident claimed the life of Billy B. Jones, 65, of Willard man.

The State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred at 3:02 p.m. on Ohio 61 near mile post 10 in Plymouth Township.

The patrol says Jennifer R. Woodhull, 34, of Shelby, was traveling south on Ohio 61 in a 2003 Pontiac Grand AM when she drove left of center and struck Jones head-on. Jones was on his 2014 Harley Davidson traveling in the northbound lane.

Jones was ejected from the motorcycle. He was transported to Ohio Health MedCentral Shelby where he was pronounced dead.

Woodhull was flown from the scene to Grant Hospital in Columbus.

No charges have been filed at that this time.
