Lucas Schools Seeking 12.9 Mil Renewal Levy

The school year has begun and many districts are back in the swing of things. Lucas Schools Board of Education met for their last meeting before the start of school on Wednesday.

Discussion of a 12.9 Million dollar renewal levy was one of the main items on the agenda. The levy would support the school's general fund and day to day operations of the school, such as books, teacher's salaries and equipment.
