The first phase of the new Avita Health System medical building at the Richland Mall in Ontario is now open. The $20-million renovation of the 187,000 square foot former Lazarus store will be done in three phases, over an undetermined period of time. For now, the first of 22 doctors and 100 employees are moving in. One of the doctors is Scott Foster, a joint replacement surgeon. The other is Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Surgeon, Doctor Kyle Randall. The preliminary opening was quick for Avita, with the building being purchased only nine months ago. A grand opening celebration is planned for early December.
