The theft of $10,000 has been reported by the Parents Club at Eastview Elementary School in the Madison School District. The report to the Richland County Sheriff's Office was filed by an employee of the school at 1262 Eastview Drive in Mifflin Township. The complaint lists the club's treasurer as a suspect, and suggests she made unauthorized transactions from the account. But deputies say she denies the allegations, and has not been charged. The sheriff's office says this is an open investigation and may take some time due to the financial auditing that must be done.
