An armed robber holds-up a gas station at Illinois Avenue and Park Avenue East in Madison Township. The Richland County Sheriff's Office says a man entered the B-P 7/11 shortly before 1am Wednesday, jumped over the counter, held the clerk at gunpoint, and told her to empty both tills. He got away with $60 in cash, a carton of cigarettes, and several rolls of pennies. Responding deputies were unable to find the suspect. He's described as black, six feet tall, and 220 pounds. He was wearing a dark hooded sweat shirt, gray pants, black tennis shoes with white trim and red markings on the bottoms, a black baseball cap with a red bill, and white latex gloves.
