It been the only game Sean Conway has talked about since the end of last season, now it's here game one at Shelby. After saying his team made some progress in their final scrimmage against Akron Hoban, coach Conway is still not happy with where his team is at as Friday night draws near.

Conway was happy with the way his players kept competing against a big physical Knight football team. He says the keys to winning on Friday night at Shelby are as they are every week, not turning the ball over and not committing penalties, something that plagued the team last season. Madison will have 17 seniors in their starting lineup on both sides of the ball, while Shelby has ten on their roster. Shelby has not beaten Madison since 2010, 40-20 at Skiles Field.
