The Madison Board of Education held their monthly meeting at the middle school yesterday. The board approved the 25 cent increase in lunch prices to $2.75 for kindergarten through eighth grade and $3.00 for grades nine through twelve. The decision came after Madison was required to perform a paid lunch equity by the USDA.

The board also approved plans to repair the high schools roof due to age. Cost for repairs will be nearly sixteen thousand dollars.
