Ohio NAMImobile Stops In Mansfield

The Ohio NAMImobile makes a stop in Mansfield as part of its statewide summer tour of more than sixty cities.

The 31-foot RV is a mobile billboard for the Ohio chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, seeking to end the stigma and discrimination that often becomes a part of life for people with a mental illness.

The NAMImobile's other mission is to encourage people with mental illness, and their families, to reach out for help. Mental health professionals say discrimination is a major barrier to people seeking help, employment, and housing.
