Area Soccer Power Rankings: Week 1

With WMFD Sports expanding their coverage to include LIVE broadcasts of area high school soccer games, viewers will get a chance to see some of the best teams in the area.

WMFD's Brian Skowronski and Jesse Rider will be on the call for all of the soccer action this season and will also share their power rankings for area boys and girls teams every week.

This week, Clear Fork sits atop the girls pole, with Mansfield Christian holding the top spot for the boys.

Rounding out the top-5 for the girls are Ontario at number 2, Ashland in 3rd, Lexington ranks 4th and Norwalk 5th.

Lexington ranks 2nd in the boys pole, with Ashland coming in 3rd, Clear Fork 4th and Wooster making the list at number 5.
