  Original Published: 8/29/2014The Madison Rams ran up 406 yards of offense in a 34-0 win over the Shelby Whippets on Friday. The Rams Juan Howard led all rushers with 152 yards on 17 carries with one touchdown. Madison quarterback Austin Finley was just three for 11 passing for 134 yards with one pass going for 70 yards and a touchdown to Frank Douglas. As a team Shelby was held to 199 total yards with 116 coming on the ground and 83 through the air. With the win Madison goes to 1-0 and will open their new field next week at home against the Galion Tigers, while Shelby will try to get their first win on the road at Lexington.
