Despite out gaining Wadsworth 274 yards to 229 and forcing the Grizzlies into four turnovers, the Ashland Arrows lost their fourth straight opener to Wadsworth by a final of 26-15. Wadsworth running back Dan Wienerman ran for two touchdowns and 150 yards on 28 carries to lead Wadsworth, while Ashland quarterback Grant Denbow making his first varsity start was 25 of 53 for 232 yards with one touchdown but had three interceptions. At 0-1 to start the season the Arrows will look for their first win next week at home against the Dover Tornadoes.
