25th National Recovery Month Kickoff Held Locally

Richland County Mental Health and Recovery Services observed the 25th National Recovery Month kickoff at the Cafe on Main Street. Mental Health and Recovery Services Executive Director Joe Trolian says this year's theme is "Speak Up And Reach Out." Trolian says they've also expanded service for medication assisted treatment and detox, increased and solidified their recovery to work program, so after people go through treatment, they're actually getting back to work. A collaborative proclamation was also presented designating September as the annual Recovery Month.
