Three local officials accept the Ice Bucket Challenge to raise money for A-L-S research. Catholic Charities Mansfield site manager Rebecca Owens, Mansfield Community Development Manager Sam Dunn, and Richland County Red Cross Director Tina Buckingham were doused with ice water Wednesday by three firefighters. This was also part of Catholic Charities' "Do Something Challenge" as it celebrates its centennial. Buckingham says she also did the Ice Bucket Challege in memory of Larry Lang, who passed away this year of A-L- S. He was the husband of Holmes County Red Cross Director Pat Lang.
