Bucyrus Holds Community Prayer In Wake Of Four Murders

The 12,000 people of Bucyrus are grieving the tragic loss of four of their neighbors, and asking God to help them heal. A community prayer service was held Thursday afternoon at city hall, led by the mayor and several church pastors, and attended by dozens of people. Mayor Jeff Reser extends the city's deepest sympathy to the families of the four murder victims, and asks all citizens to be mindful of their grief and be ready to support them. One of those attending was Sarah Lewis, the daughter of 65-year-old Darrell Lewis, who was seen crying outside of his apartment Tuesday. Mayor Reser also thanks the Bucyrus Police and Crawford County Sheriff's Departments for their around-the-clock work to gather the facts in this case and file Aggravated Murder charges against Donald Hoffman.
