While the South All-Stars prep at Arlin Field, the North is getting ready for Saturday's contest at Shelby. New London and North head coach Justin Vorhies says despite the layoff, his squad didn't waste any time getting down to the business of playing. Vorhies adds he will use about half of his regular playbook on Saturday, while the defense will played straight, no blitzing.

For some of the players such as Madison's Kalvin Gordon, the game means one more shot at rival Mansfield Senior who has several members on the South squad. For Ty Green of Ashland he'll use this game as college prep. Green is on his way to Fordham University, while Gordon is off to Walsh University.

The North squad is made up of players from Ashland, Buckeye Central, Bucyrus, Crestview, Hillsdale, Madison, New London, Norwalk, Norwalk St.Paul, Plymouth, Shelby, Tiffin Calvert, Upper Sandusky, Willard and Wynford. Kickoff for Saturday's game is at 7pm at Lexington.
