OBS Fall Fest, Aaron Tippin At Ren, Arsenic Show At BLT

MANSFIELD, OH - The Ohio Bird Sanctuary Fall Festival is this Saturday, October 13th, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Just in time for the changing of the leaves, the sanctuary is opening its doors for the annual Fall Festival which will be busy with kids activities, crafts, games, live animal encounters, plenty of foods to enjoy and photography of Birds of Prey. 

The sanctuary continues it's mission to preserve the biodiversity of Ohio through education, rehabilitation and stewardship. The Ohio Bird Sanctuary is located at 37-74 Orweiler Road in Mansfield.

Upcoming presentations at the Renaissance Theatre include Country music star Aaron Tippin, who will bring his "thank you to the fans show" to the Renaissance on Friday the 12th, with local opening act The Devault Ridge Band.


Rave reviews can be found online for the "Naked Magicians", also known as Christopher and Mike, that have everyone curious and talking about their unusual show coming up Wednesday at the Renaissance Theatre, October 17th. You must be 18 to attend this show. 


You can thank the theatre for the next movie in the family series, "Hocus Pocus" playing on October 14th, Sunday afternoon, at 3 p.m. starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy.

Richland Academy of the Arts has created an Artists Showcase to cast light on Mansfield's diverse talent.

Next in the lineup of talent is Izzy Heltai with a performance on October 18th; see and hear Jai Merina November 8th; OddEpoxy performs on December 13th and Jillian Caudill on January 24th.

All shows are at the Richland Academy at 75 North Walnut Street in Mansfield with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.


Coming to The Bucyrus Little Theatre is 'Arsenic and Old Lace', directed by Alexa Franklin and written by Joseph Kesselring. 

This is the final weekend of dates with performances October 12, and 13th at 7:30 p.m. with a final matinee October 14th at 2:30 p.m.
