MIDDLETOWN, OH - Two adults have been arrested in connection with the reported disappearance of a Trenton, Ohio teen after she was found hiding in a closet.
The girl was found unharmed and had been missing from her Middletown, Ohio home since January 15.
John Genovese reports.
"There's a lot more to the story then what's being told."
Mike Becraft is close friends with Lucinda and Robert, better known as Bobby Bryant.
"There was just some police here and they take bobby out - that's all I seen." Becraft says.
For two months, investigators say the couple was helping 17-year-old Loretta Norvell hide in their Middletown home.
"I never seen her - not here, not around here at all," Becraft says.
After two months and countless hours of searching...
"We were closing in - we were gonna find her."
Trenton Police Chief Arthur Scott says cell phone and computer evidence helped track her down.
"We spent a lot of time on Facebook trying to track that way - and she was purposely avoiding social media but other people weren't," Chief Scott says.
Scott says the Bryant's are related to Norvell's boyfriend but wouldn't say how and tells me this case still isn't closed.
"I fully expect that they'll be further charges on some more people," Chief Scott says.
And for the people who already are, Becraft believes with time, will come answers.
"They're good people, man. they do anything for anybody," Becraft says.
Police say the investigation is continuing and they expected more people would be charged.
