SHARONVILLE, OH - An Ohio Ramada Inn is offering 30 families a free room for a ten-day stay to help them get through the aftermath of Hurricane Irma.

"We were actually told when they actually contacted local hotels telling them the situation, the hotels were actually jacking up their pricing and that made us completely turn it around. That's why we wanted to even open up more rooms if available," said Nidhi Bedi, manager for the Ramada Inn.

One happy couple who is staying in the hotel after evacuating Fort Meyers, the Dehmels, said, "I hope we find our house back when we get home. We will, but we thank you from the bottom of our heart for all your generosity and your kindness here."

The manager says that even after the ten-day offer, she will open up rooms as they are available and the need continues.
