UPDATE: Suspect In McBride Road Shooting In Custody

MIFFLIN TWP., OH - In the four o'clock hour Monday afternoon, the Richland County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to McBride Rd. off of State Route 430 following a reported shooting in Mifflin Township.

The male victim was shot in the arm. 

Derrick Travis Flannery, the suspect in this case, is now in custody, according to the Richland County Sheriff's Office. 

The vehicle that Flannery was driving has now been impounded. The weapon that the suspect used has been located. 

According to a report, the victim was riding with the offender in the same vehicle. The offender pulled over and told the victim to get out of the van, and while the victim was exiting the vehicle, the offender then shot the male.
