ONTARIO, OH - Chino And Dino are a pair of 1 to 3-year-old male chihuahua mixes available for adoption at the Humane Society of Richland County in Ontario. They are WMFD-TV's Pets Of The Week!

Chino and Dino were surrendered by their previous owner who could not care for them any longer. They have lived their whole lives as a pair and are comfortable with each-other as a result. They don't have to be adopted out separately, but it would make their transition easier.

Chino and Dino are both excitable and sort of skittish, as chihuahuas usually are, but once they warm up to you they are sweet and friendly. Chino is the lighter colored one, and Dino is the dark colored one. The pair is full of energy and would be best in a home with no small children as they tend to be afraid of sudden movements and louder noises. Chino and Dino have lots of personality and are very nosy and want to be the center of attention.

The Humane Society of Richland County is located at 3025 Park Avenue West in Ontario and is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from Noon to 5:00 PM and also Thursdays from Noon to 7:00 PM. Go visit Chino and Dino and apply to adopt them or one of many animals available for adoption or fostering. If you can't adopt at this time you can still contribute by donating pet food, toys, leashes, litter, or time to HSRC or your local Humane Society.

Go to to donate, view more animals, apply to adopt, apply to foster, or to learn more about getting involved.

Check back to every Wednesday afternoon for a brand new Pet Of The Week from The Humane Society Of Richland County.
