ONTARIO, OH - During road construction at the intersection of Lexington-Springmill Road and Walker Lake Road, a boring company accidentally ruptured a gas line, forcing them to close the road as crews worked to repair the hazard.

Repairing the line took nearly two hours, causing traffic to slow in other areas while repairs were being made. Ontario Police Department and Springfield Township Fire Department responded to the scene to keep control of the area.

No injuries were reported and the line was successfully repaired around 1:30 PM.
