Minor Injuries Sustained In 2 Car Accident In Mansfield

MANSFIELD, OH - Two people were transported to hospitals after sustaining minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident early Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Mansfield-Lucas Rd. and Illinois Ave.

Trooper Kevin Beringo of the Mansfield Post, Ohio State Highway Patrol claimed the driver of the Toyota Camry failed to yield at the stop sign and struck the truck as a result.

Madison Township Fire and EMS, Mifflin Township Fire and EMS, Ohio State Highway Patrol and Richland County Sherriff's Office assisted at the scene.

Both vehicles suffered heavy damage.
